As a team captain for the Walk for PKD, you are not just building a team, you are building the momentum that will power us to treatments and a cure! A Cure is our finish line, what is your team’s finish line? Success is as easy as 1-2-3.

A team is four or more people on a mission to raise money. You, as the Team Captain are included in this number, so you only need three more members to start your team.
Enthusiasm is contagious, so get excited about your team!
As a team captain for the Walk for PKD, you are not just building a team; you are building the momentum that will power us to treatments and a cure! By being on a team, not only will you raise more funds collectively, you also raise more funds individually due to the support, encouragement, and competition from their team members. Fundraising and preparation all become easier with a team to support you!
Once your team recruitment is underway and team members are fundraising, bring them all together to build team camaraderie. Provide fun ways to encourage and engage team members, such as team picnics, pre-Walk dinners, and weekly email updates on fundraising.
