SEATTLE CHAPTER - Providing Hope and Support
With the help of PKD Foundation Chapters in cities across the country and beyond, the PKD Foundation provides a forum for patients who want to join in the fight to raise find a treatment and cure for PKD.

Connect with other PKD patients and families in your area.
The Seattle Chapter meets the second MOnday of every othere month. Meetings last approx. 1 hour. Light refreshments are served. Parking is available in the garage under the building.
September 8th, 2008 - 7:00pm: Last minute Walk for PKD planning. Help stuff goody bags and get excited for a day of fund-raising and FUN!
November 10th, 2008 - 7:00pm: Regular Chapter Meeting. Topic TBD. If you have topic ideas, email Veronica at SeattleChapter@pkdcure.org.
Location: Haviland Kidney Center; 700 Broadway on Capital Hill; 3rd Floor Conference Room.

Seattle Chapter Holiday Party: Each January the Seattle Chapter holds a Holiday Party. We are looking for volunteers to organize an event in January 2009. This could be dinner at a restaurant. Tickets to a Sporting Event, etc. It involves securing the location, date and details of the event. To volunteer, please contact Veronica at SeattleChapter@pkdcure.org.
Seattle Chapter Meetings: We consider our Chapter Meetings (held the second Monday of everyother month) to be mini "events". We always have a guest speaker and/or topics related or PKD. And itis a great time to come together as a group to share personal stories and support one another. So be sure to join us! Additional information is listed at the top of this page.

National Convention on PKD - Summer 2009
The National Convention on PKD is the only opportunity, worldwide, for PKD patients, their families and and medical professionals to learn about PKD and connect with others in the PKD community.
In 2009, the convention will be held in two locations:
Chicago, IL and San Diego, CA

Seeking Chapter Co-Coordinator become a volunteer! At the end of 2007, Suzie Schofield stepped down as co-coordinator of the Seattle Chapter after 10 years with our group. We’ve had several active members slow down in recent years - due to illness, starting a family or other aspects of busy, daily life. We totally understand that. But that’s why we are always looking for new people to volunteer and help keep our Chapter going strong. Remember even an hour of your time, every other month can be a great help.
