WESTERN NEW YORK CHAPTER - Providing Hope and Support
With the help of PKD Foundation Chapters in cities across the country and beyond, the PKD Foundation provides a forum for patients who want to join in the fight to raise find a treatment and cure for PKD.
Chapter Coordinator Needed: Contact Taryn Egelanian, PKD Foundation NE Region Volunteer Manager, at taryne@pkdcure.org or 703-599-0657 if you are interested.
The Chapter Coordinator would ideally have skills in leadership, organization, motivation and fund raising and be available to stay in the job at least two years. In return for your hard work, the PKD Foundation offers annual training, support from national/regional staff, materials, a Coordinator Handbook, suggestions and a network of others for idea-sharing. National Convention on PKD 2008
The National Convention on PKD is the only opportunity, worldwide, for PKD patients, their families and and medical professionals to learn about PKD and connect with others in the PKD community.
In 2009, the convention will be held in two locations:
Chicago, IL and San Diego, CA
