Research Experts Come Together To Discuss Similarities Between
Polycystic Kidney Disease and Tuberous Sclerosis.
Goal of joint conference is to gain new insights to both diseases.
(Kansas City) February 17, 2006— Nearly 50 research experts from across the country have committed to a joint conference in Chicago next month. The workshop sponsored jointly by the PKD Foundation and the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance is designed to discuss biological processes which are relevant to both polycystic kidney disease and TS.
The workshop is scheduled for March 9-10 at the Chicago Hilton O’Hare.
