Step up to FIGHT PKD
When it comes to PKD, now is the time for a knockout! We’re fighting PKD head on and we’re going to win. In our corner - YOU - along with 77 cents of every dollar you raise directly funds critical programs of PKD research, education, advocacy, support and awareness.

- Dog Walk – Bring your dog on a leash to join you as you walk. Water, treats, and prizes will be available!
- Parking - There are other events in the park on September 24th. Please carpool or park in the Joske Pavillion Parking Lot, just off Broadway and Tuleta (Tuleta and Avenue B). Park Police Officers will assist with traffic flow.

8:45 am Start-Line Ceremony (awards from 2010 will be given and winners from drawings will be announced at this time)

9:15 am Walk begins (walk with your teams at the beginning of the walk)

Other pre-walk events - Warm up with zumba instructor, face painting for kids - big and small, chow down on great food sponsored by Panera Bread, Order-Up, Starbucks. Kiolbassa Sausage, Two Bros BBQ, Freddy's Custard and MyFit Food! Plus visits by HEB Buddy, VIA Buster and Sparky the Firedog! Door Prizes!

Drawings - For every $100 an individual raises, you will receive a "ticket" to put in for drawings for prizes such as year membership to health club, Schlitterbahn tickets, items donated by Mia Hamm and much, much more! (maximum of twenty tickets per person)

Education - Learn more about PKD, advocacy for PKD and organ donation!

Research - Nephrologists and staff will be on board to discuss new and exciting research studies for PKD patients in the greater San Antonio Area!

As those affected by PKD, our vision of the future is clear – AN END TO PKD! That’s why we’re taking the 20/20 Vision Challenge and asking 20 friends to donate $20 each. Join us—it’s easy and effective.
