Although this was my fourth time lobbying for PKD in Washington, this experience included interesting guest speakers, clearly defined objectives and well planned prearranged appointments which facilitated my overall experience. I felt thoroughly prepared to speak with elected officials and staffers. One staffer remarked that he will feel a more direct connection to our issues because he now has actual faces to connect with polycystic kidney disease.
