News and Information News and Information

Your local PKD Central Ohio Chapter is currently seeking a volunteer Walk Coordinator.

The Walk Coordinator will be responsible for organizing logistics for the Walk, recruiting volunteers, securing sponsorships, recruiting and encouraging team captains and participants, promoting the Walk within the community, and helping raise awareness of PKD and the Foundation. This position requires about 2 to 3 hours a week and more time as we approach the event date.

As a local Coordinator, you will be one of the first to hear about mission critical updates when you join a network of over 50 coordinators across the nation. The Foundation will provide you with support tools and an invitation to attend our annual Leadership Conference training in Kansas City February 21-23. If you have time and talents to donate to PKD patients in your area, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further.

Please contact Sue Full at suef@pkdcure.org if you are interested in the Central Ohio Walk Coordinator position.
