30 Milestones in 30 Years

Dr. Jared J. Grantham and Joseph H. Bruening started the PKD Foundation 30 years ago with a vision to find treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD). When they started, not much was known about PKD. The genes hadn't been identified and there were only a small number of researchers even working in PKD science. Today, the PKD Foundation is the second largest funder of PKD research. Over the last 30 years, over $31 million has been invested in more than 550 research, clinical and scientific grants, fellowships, scientific meetings and educational programs.

The timeline below illustrates just how far we've come. Help us celebrate 30 milestones in 30 years with a $30 donation today. Our current work is moving us forward faster than ever and together we can end PKD!
