30 Milestones in 30 Years

Dr. Jared J. Grantham and Joseph H. Bruening started the PKD Foundation 30 years ago with a vision to find treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD). When they started, not much was known about PKD. The genes hadn't been identified and there were only a small number of researchers even working in PKD science. Today, the PKD Foundation is the second largest funder of PKD research. Over the last 30 years, over $31 million has been invested in more than 550 research, clinical and scientific grants, fellowships, scientific meetings and educational programs.
