In 1984, the PKD Foundation funded its first research grant for $25,000. In 2008, we funded nearly $4 million in PKD research. In just 20 years, PKD Foundation funded scientists have progressed from discovering the PKD genes to conducting clinical trials in humans - an unprecedented level of biomedical research success.
