    Jared J. Grantham, MD, FACP, is this year's recipient of the John P. Peters Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to improving the lives of patients with kidney disease and to furthering the understanding of the kidney in health and disease. 

  • ARPKD Study: Mutations in PKHD1 Gene

    A team of researchers, led by Jason Bakeberg and Christopher Ward of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, studied how mutations in the PKHD1 gene lead to Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD), which affects 1 in 20,000 newborns.
