Dr. Theodore Steinman Named Recipient of the 2012 Medal of Excellence Award

The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) has named Dr. Theodore Steinman as one of the recipients of the 2012 Medal of Excellence Award. The award recognizes a renal physician(s) for their extraordinary skills and devotion in the field of nephrology. 

 

Dr. Steinman served on the PKD Foundation Board of Trustees and was a past Chair of the Foundation's Scientific Advisory Committee. 

 

The other recipient of the award is Dr. Charles McAllister. 

 

AAKP will honor Dr. Steinman and Dr. McAllister at the Medal of Excellence Award Dinner held Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington D.C.
