Central Ohio Chapter - Spreading the Word

The Central Ohio Chapter is working hard to increase our presence in our community. To date, a display on the PKD Foundation and PKD has been shown at four Ohio Roller Girl bouts and was also part of the UHE Community Day on June 21st. 

The Chapter display is also scheduled to be that the Black Arts Cultural Festival in Franklin Park as well as the Honda Employee Wellness and Benefit Event being held at Cedar Point Amusement Part in Sandusky just 2 weeks before the Walk for PKD.

Each of these events present the opportunity for thousands of people to learn about PKD and the many resources available through the PKD Foundation and Central Ohio Chapter.

Make a difference in the lives of 12.5 million people.

The Central Ohio Chapter is looking for commited, energetic people to sit on one of the many committees.  Whether you can volunteer a little or a lot of your time, we need you!

Join us for our Central Ohio Chapter Meetings.  Our meetings consist of featured speakers on PKD, Chapter planning, and time for sharing what is happening in our PKD lives, what we call “the gift of one another”.

All of our Chapter meetings are held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at OSU East, Pathology Conference Room Columbus located at 1492 E. Broad Street in Columbus, OH 43205. Click here for directions.

June 19th - The UHE Community Day Health Fair 
We plan to have an informational display as we have done in past years. The Chapter is looking for volunteers to help with this event. If interested, please contact Jared Cunningham at CentralOhioChapter@pkdcure.org. 

April 24th - Trinity Baptist Church Health Fair
The Central Ohio Chapter has been asked to participate in a health fair at Trinity Baptist Church on April 24th. Volunteers are needed for an information booth from 10:00am to 3:00pm. A 45 minute presentation on PKD will be given by Chapter Coordinator Jared Cunningham  at 11:00am .
