Why I Walk…

See her? She's my kidney donor. Every year I celebrate with her that she gave me a kidney when I needed it. I was on dialysis and my mom and dad couldn't give me one so she did!

I like having a new kidney because I was able to get off dialysis, I feel better because of it, and I don't have to have weekly shots anymore!

Each year our family walks together in the Walk for PKD. Want to walk with us? Or donate to help find treatments and maybe even a cure someday? We would love that.
