Why I Run… 

On November 22nd, I will be running the Philadelphia Half-Marathon with my sister and a team of friends (some of us are even running the Full!).  We’ve decided to raise money for Polycystic Kidney Disease.  As some of you may know, this past summer my grandma passed away from PKD. Preceding her death, she was on dialysis for eight years. Not only did my grandma have PKD, but my mom, uncle, aunt, and several cousins have it too. We are raising funds for more research, better treatments, and a cure.  

While I know everyone is on a budget and may not be able to contribute…if you can donate to the team's cause, we would be very appreciative. Anything that you can give: $1, $5, $10, $25...is enough.
