Getting to Washington

Three airports service the Washington, DC region. Please note: The hotel does not provide shuttle service between the hotel and airports.

Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA)
DCA is the closest, most convenient airport to the hotel and Capitol Hill.  It’s a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel or a short Metro ride, and we recommend flying into this airport. For more information on ground transportation from DCA, click here.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Participants flying from West may find more non-stop flight options into Dulles airport (IAD), which is a 45 to 75 minute taxi ride to the hotel.  For more information on ground transportation from IAD, click here

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)

Baltimore-Washington (BWI) is a 60 to 80 minute taxi, shuttle, or train ride to downtown Washington, DC and the hotel.  There is the option from this airport to take the commuter or Amtrak train from the airport to Union Station in downtown Washington, DC, which can take 35 to 45 minutes. From Union Station, you can then take a taxi or the Metro to the hotel.  For more information about ground transportation from BWI, click here.

When Can I Plan to Leave?

Most Congressional office visits will end by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 2, and the Foundation will provide transportation back to the hotel between 4 and 5 pm.  When scheduling your return flight, please remember to allow enough time to get back to the hotel, pick up your luggage, travel to the appropriate airport, and check in.
