PKD Stops with Me!
This fall, join thousands from across the country to step out and say: “PKD stops with me.” Don’t let PKD affect another generation of your family. Join us by registering to Walk for PKD and raise money to end this disease. Together, we can find treatments and a cure.
Each Year the PKD Foundation Recognizes Supporters
Visionary Awards
We are proud to honor those who go above and beyond in their efforts to fight PKD. Visionaries are exceptional fundraisers who raise $6,000 or more for PKD research and patient education – in effect, donating one penny for each of the 600,000 Americans living with PKD.
There are different levels of Visionary Awards based on the total amount of money raised. Click here to learn more and get started on fundraising!
TeamFirst Awards
TeamFirst Captains are those motivated individuals who encourage and support their teammates in their fundraising efforts. A little healthy competition goes a long way when a team captain and at least three other team members collectively raise $10,000 or more!
The more fundraising dollars your team raises, the higher the level of recognition you’ll receive. Curing PKD is a team effort! Click here to learn more and get started on fundraising!
PKD Foundation's SUITE Deal!
Thank you to everyone who worked extremely hard in a short period of time, and raised at least $500 by the end of the month of August! After all was said and done, there could only be two winners of this contest, but we appreciate all of the help and hope that all of you helped provide for the 600,000 Americans and 12.5 million people worldwide that have PKD.
Congratulations to:
Brandy Lincks
Atlanta Walk for PKD
Janice Lewis
Nashville Walk for PKD
Their names were drawn out of a hat and will be taking themselves and their closest friends and/or family to a game right in the middle of a pennant chase in Atlanta on September 9th!
The contest may be over, but the fundraising has just begun! We will not stop until the last walker crosses the finish line in Atlanta, at Turner Field on November 13th. Need some fundraising advice? Email Adam Riso, Southeast Regional Manager at adamr@pkdcure.org. Register for the Walk for PKD by going to www.pkdcure.org and searching for a walk near you!
